Member Interview: Hidde Kross President of Veejays.com From Medical Biologist to Entrepreneur On his old Twitter (X) bio, it used to say that he had “escaped from the laboratory,” and that’s true. “I was trained as a medical biologist, but I found working in media much more fun,” Hidde laughs. Today, he is the president of Veejays.com, the VJ Academy, a foundation operating at the intersection of entertainment and culture. Hidde and his team create spectacular, moving, and explanatory video shows for festivals, concerts, conferences, weddings, and corporate events. “We’re the video sister of the DJ,” he explains. “Our shows are created live by a team of 25 to 30 VJs, video jockeys, who sometimes work for months toward a single performance.
